Chess Tournament 

Beginner Friendly!
Statz Chess Academy is excited to announce our final tournament of the 2025-2026 school year!  Our May tournament will be held on Saturday, May 16th, at the Corey Lake Clubhouse (10441 Corey Lake Dr, Tampa FL 33647).  This tournament will be 4 rounds, time control 25+5, and will run from 10:00 to 2:30 (we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tournament start for check-in).  Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.  Individual trophies will be awarded to the top 3 places in each division, with school trophies awarded to the top 3 schools.  All participants who do not earn a trophy will receive a medal.

**THIS IS NOT A DROP-OFF EVENT**  Parents will be expected to accompany their child between tournament rounds.
